I have been to some dark places, and the thing is, for me, I never know when I'm going DOWN that spiral until I start coming UP out of it. You never realize it sometimes, you just think it's a bad day, then another and it gets worse and worse. I lost my brother to suicide, he was 17 and I was 13, my family and I really watch each other for the dark times. So many times, just a kind word and a listening ear can help so much. The next day you look back and wonder HOW you felt that way, but it happens. We need to let our loved ones know they're not alone. They need to reach out.
